Hi nerds, I’m Sara and I’m a girl developer, or a “gerd” if you will. I am an ASP.NET/C#/SQL software engineer. I like to think I have lots of hats though. I’ve worked on all different sized projects, high volume and low volume sites. Different types of databases. One thing that is very unique about the project I am on right now is that I’m doing it all by myself! I am used to working with a team of awesome developers, I have worked with some great guys who have all taught me all I know with work experience, studies, and random quizzing (i.e. “What does AJAX stand for?” “What is boxing?” “What heroes character killed his mother with a snowglobe?”) . So, this bird is kicked out of its nest and I’m def all about flying.

What I’m asking you guys to do is be my mentors. I am going to post about my exploits and adventures as a developer, I will try to make it exciting. Also, I’d like to review new tools, ideas, designs, sites, you name it I will look at it! Anyway, I would love all of your opinions on how I get things done as well as suggestions, or ideas on new things to work on.
